Cracked Face

The hardest altered pictures that were harder to create was the cracked face. It was the hardest because I had to go through so many steps to try and make it at least a little bit descent. As well that it was hard for me to figure to how to use new tools in photoshop. The easiest altered picture that was the easiest to create was the overlay images. It was the easiest because I understood how to duplicate an image and use photoshop to overlay the image.
An altered image to a viewer is a bunch of images shoved in to one or images that are edited to the max. An altered image to a photographer is a form of expression or a piece of art.Out of the 7 altered images I might create backlit images again because I found backlit images better appealing to the eye.
The historical significant behind sepia images is that you no longer have to go into a laboratory with chemicals and create a sepia image. Now you could just use photoshop and not harm yourself.
Its important for me to learn how to photoshop altered images because in the future Iam interested in going into photography.
I think that all images need to be altered because some images are great but you just need to fix the saturation or brightness of an image.By altering a portrait it allows me to be as creative as i want to be with an image and it allows me to put my skills up to the test to learn more.
Blur Motion 10/16/2018

Forced Perspective 12/01/8

Blur Motion is an image that catches movement. Blur Motion can be an image that the object or model is blurry and the background is in focus.A blur motion image can also be that the object or model is in focusing the background is blurry. I created my blur motion images by adjusting the shutter speed and the settings on the camera. In photoshop I edited my images by adjusting the color and adding a filter. The most difficult about taking this image is trying to catch the blur motion and adjusting the shutter speed to the correct setting to get the blur.As well as running out of ideas on how the model should move to get the shutter. The easiest thing to do with these images was editing because you just really have edit the colors in the image and add more or less contrast as well as adjusting the brightness.

This is an image of Jasmine touching the top of the building. This image uses forced perspective by making Jamine look like she's a giant that can touch the top of the building. I created this image by having Jasmine be closer to the camera. And I had her lift her arms up and I moved the camera around to make it look like she's going to hold onto the building. What was hard about creating this image is that its was hard to move the camera at the correct angle to create the illusion of holding onto the building.

This is an image of Jasmine holding up the building. This uses forced perspective by making it look like Jasmine is holding up the building. I created this image by angling the camera at a lower angle and having Jasmine lift up her arms to make it look like she's holding up the building. The thing that was hard to create about this image is that trying to get Jasmines arms at the correct angle.
This is an image of Jasmine's fingers. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like she's holding the sun in-between my fingers. I created this image by making the camera focus on the sun to be able to bring the finger close to the camera without getting rid of the focus on the sun. The thing that was hard about creating this image is trying together her fingers at the correct opening to make the sun look like its in-between her fingers.

This is an image of Jasmine. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Jasmine is small enough to fit in a trash can. I created this image by having Jasmine stand far behind the trash can and angeling the camera at a lower angle. The thing that was hard about creating this image is having her stand at the correct distance so you would still be able to see her.
This is an image of Jasmine. This image shows forced perspective by making it look like Jasmine is a giant that can touch the top of the lightpost.I created this image by having Jasmine be closer to the camera. And then having her lift her arm up to make it look like shes touching the top of the light post. The thing that was hard about creating this image is having Jasmine hold her arm up at the correct hieght and distance.

This is an image of Lizeth. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Lizeth is holding up the staircase. I created this image by having lizeth hold up her arms and angling the camera at a lower angle. The thing that was hard about creating this image is trying to angle her arms at the correct height.

This is an image of Lizeth. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Lizeth is holding up the exit sign. I created this image by having Lizeth hold her arm up to the exit sign. And angling the camera at a good angle. Also by having Lizeth stand closer to the camera. The thing that was hard about creating this image was having Lizeth hold her arm up at the correct height.

This is an image of Lizeth holding her arm above the locker. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Lizeth is taller then the lockers. I created this image by having Lizeth lift her arm up and I had to take the camera and angle it at a lower angle to make her look taller. The thing that's hard about creating this image was getting the camera at the correct angle.

This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Iam holding the sun in-between my fingers.I created this image by making the camera focus on the sun to be able to bring the finger close to the camera without getting rid of the focus on the sun. This is an image of someones finger touching the sun. This image uses forced perspective by making the finger look big enough to be able to touch the sun. I created this image by making the camera focus on the sun to be able to bring the finger close to the camera without getting rid of the focus on the sun. It was hard trying to not get rid of the focus on the sun.

This is an image of Lizeth. This image uses forced perspective by making it look like Lizeth is holding the flower on the wall. I created this image by angling the camera at a lower angle to make it look like she is holding the flower. The thing that was hard about creating this image is trying to get Lizeth to have her angle her hand at the correct spot.

The thing that was hard about creating this image is trying to have the camera focus on the sun but at the same time having the camera try to focus on Jasmine.

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it.
I picked to do portrait photography. I picked this because I thought that the pictures would look professional.
2. What did you do to get the image? Explain.
The thing that I did to get the images is that I had to go before the sun went down. And I tried to go before the weather got bad. And it was more pressure.
3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing.
The type of editing that I had to do was changing the contrast ad brightness on most of the images. I had to do this because some images looked really dark and some looked to bright.
4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain.
What I learned about this style of photography is that you have to be really patient. And be patient with the models.
5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why.
What I found difficult is to not make it awkward for the model.
6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it.
I think that they could have came out way better. I think this because some of the images didn't come out as I expected.
7. What are you thinking about doing for your next independent project? Explain your idea.
I am thinking of doing candid photography because I feel that it would be easier for the model to not be pressured on posing in a certain way. That I would just take the picture out of no where. So that the models look relaxed in the pictures.

Independent Project #3

For this project I chose to take pictures of plants and flowers. What I did to be able to take these images are that I had to go over to my uncles house and take the images there because he has a Green House in his backyard. The editing that I did to these images was change the contrast and the brightness of the images. The thing that I learned about shooting this type of photography is that nature is one of the prettiest things in the world. What I found difficult at first was trying to find plants or flowers that where already blooming. But then I wet to my uncles house and remembered he had a Green House.Overall I think these images came out better then what I expected because I wasn't sure if I was going to find any plants to shoot. For my next project I want to shoot makeup. I want to shoot makeup up close and makeup from far away.
Independent Project #4

I picked to shoot pets. I decided to pick this project because I haven't done a project on shooting animals. What I did to get these images was go and try to find some dogs because I don't own any pets. As well as go outside to shoot the pictures or stay inside. The editing that I did to my images was changing the brightness and the contrast. As well as using the red eye corrector and the spot healing brush tool. What I learned about shooting this type of photography was that its really hard to take the because the pets move a lot. What I found difficult about getting this images was trying to keep the dogs to stay still.I think that these images came out alright but they could have been better. For my next project I want to shoot portraits outside. For example having the person sit on a big rock , lean against a tree or sit in the bushes.
